Well, as I Said in my last post, the new issue (in which we expected just a few illustration changes) is a complete and utter redraw. And I'm shocked to say that I actually love it.

In summary, omg, omg, yay. Talk about faith being rewarded and all that. Couldn't have hoped for better! And the fact that she took the time and effort to re-write the whole damn issue is an excellent, excellent sign.

Main piece (Translation):
After an 8 year long hiatus, Matsushita Yoko's "Descendants of Darkness" (serialized in Hakusensha's (publisher name) "Flowers and Dreams") will return with the 12th volume in January 2010. "Descendants of Darkness" is a series about the adventures of the Death God Tsuzuki Asato and his partner kurosaki Hisoka as they solve difficult cases while working for Ten Kings Hall (an organisation that judge the dead) of the Enma (King of Hell)'s summons division. During this period of hiatus, the last publication in "Flowers and Dreams" (2006, No.6) consisted of sidestories. This is actually an 8 year break if you consider that the volume 11 tankobon (standalone book) appeared in December 2001. In the 12th volume there will be massive changes to the original content. The revival of this series is uncertain. Based on the response of this new volume, the fate of the series will be announced in "Flowers and Dreams" ~ Source (In Japanese)
I've said in a couple of places now that massive changes seem to be a good sign to me. That would mean involvement on Matsushita's part... dialogue changes especially (why change a buildup for a climax you aren't going to write?)... and illustration changes would be nice after the nasty art she was sporting at the time. :P
Of course she could be doctoring it to only include conclusions, and none of the new plot-threads she put in. XD
Either way, seems it's definitely happening, Hana to Yume's official release listings for YnM lists Volume 12, with ISBN and everything. :D

Basically I really wanted to post, it's been over a month, but I've had nothing to post whatsoever. All the lj drama dried up! What am I to do!
Um, well I finally changed my mood theme. The new one is a declaration of totally dorkiness, I believe. But despite my misgivings, the sepia looks nice. And...what the hell. I love that show so much. @.@
Seems to tie in with my purging of all things X slightly.
Oh, and I know this is total babble. I just felt I should post, and indicate I live. *waves*
I nearly posted before that after over 3 years of reading it, I finally finished Angel Sanctuary the other week. @.@ 20 issues....all bought around their official liscenced release xD. And I was happy with the ending. I won't spoil, but the final 2 page spread was gorgeous, and I cried. ♥
...okay, the new Death note opening is incredibly speshul. I mean, that is the heaviest begining theme I've ever heard (it's all screaming music ._.), but the thing is the images over it...are...hillarious.
Not that Ryuk dancing in a discoteque like thing isn't something I've always wanted to see. XD
Ah well, such a shame after Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge (err, Wallflower?) finally got a decent openingwith a lot of nakedness ._. Even the manquins were posing! D=

The X fandom are really nasty people.
Ehum. Obviously I don't mean in their entirety, as many of my flist are in that category, it was also a category I firmly put myself in up until lately, ah I don't know.
Point is, they were picking on someone and to be honest, I was really afraid to stick up for them...even though it's someone I've seen around, and seems to be a very nice person. In the end I resolved that I should say something, otherwise I'd be considering myself a horrible person, but I couldn't even think of what to say...I guess I'm just terrified to start a fight. I ended up bookmarking it to check back and see if they cease or not.
Oh, and I'm feeling better now for the most part, so thanks for all the get well soon's ^_^ Hopefully I should be back to normal in a week or so.
Spent yesterday on another fanart sweep, so sad that so many of the old and seemingly really good YnM fanart sites are dead.Although I have hundreds of fanarts already, so I suppose I'll managage. XD No idea why I felt the need to comment on that. Was going to delete, decided to add that note instead ♥

I bought some doujin from Yahoo!Japan a bit ago via an inbetweeny site. Despite the low weight and size and cost of the items, and the rather expensive shipping within Japan, I was charge a ridiculous amount for shipping to my home.
And now I know why.
The box, is fucking huge. It's twice the lengh and width of the item, and five times the height. And alls thats in there, is newspaper. Not amused. >___>On the upside, wow the Japanese keep their doujin nice o^_^o On the downside...urgh...novel....>_>
Also....eck, nvm. I was going to witter about doujin some more, this is starting to sound like a doujin blog. >_>

But really, I'm more sad/elated over the fic I've been reading for...well...a very long time coming to an end. I've laughed, cried, hyperventilated, and founded the authors fanclub. True story.
But it's over, so there goes my Wednesdays D= (well, there *is* Tsubasa and Holic but...nope, doesn't match up, especially now they're out of acid!Tokyo.)
I thought I'd be sadder, but the (relatively) happy ending has left me feelign all happy ^^; (well, right now I feel down-spiralled, but that was due to my inbox content. ¬_¬')
Still, the fact that it's over will sink in, and I'll continue to say (with a scary grin) 'aww, it's over ^^;;;' ....and next Wednesday, I'll be getting withdrawal symptoms. ^_^;

29th April - Gendou Ikari - Evangelion
Haha, do I seem to be mocking him with that picture? Oops. Its a shot from the Evangelion game that I got pictures from yesterday, that game has like woah art. (It has the striptease Kaworu, and the elvis costume Kaworu, and the pimpin Touji (sp?), more Gendou mocking yada et yada....XD)
Um, as for the tentacle porn as mentioned in my lj post title, thats in reference to my last post...I saw the English scans, Its real! SHOCK AND HORROR! XD And it has Tatsumi's e-mail address in the issue (wtf? odd email...o.o), and the dead Hisoka picture (*fawn*). Oh and for those who didn't see the editted version of my last entry, I added in the tentacle porn pages of the manga...
No more YnM manga now! =( Thats the last one published in Japan....(unless they somehow decide to publish the Hana To Yume installments..(yeah...right))...Although I did hear she's meant to be continuing this year..and she did do those 3 side stories...*hopeful*

Once described as 'the most graphic tentacle molestation scene outside of doujinshi' on a yaoi site..o.o...and when I first saw it ages ago it was pretty um...O_O inducing ^^
I'm in such shock XD Its not even cling-filmed as far as I've been told....
So, they edit out some guys hait potruding from inbetween another guys legs (despite the waay more graphic sex scene on the same page) but this they didn't censor atall?
...I'm so over happy XD I've spent forever saying theres no way they'll publish that in a million years, hell, even the Hana To Yume magazine version of it had it censored...or atleast she hadn't drawn it that graphically yet, maybe that XD
